ESG

ACTING RESPONSIBLY

We believe that responsible ownership and business success go hand in hand. A responsible approach towards our employees, suppliers, local community, the environment, and society is an essential part of our success. Hence, Pactum adheres to the UN Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI), incorporating ESG (environmental, social and governance) principles into our investment analysis and decision-making processes.

We want to trigger positive change and are fundamentally committed to building a long-term, sustainable business, which will grow, provide employment and generate economic benefit in an environmentally, and socially responsible manner.

Our vision to be the leading provider of working capital finance represents our ambition to link the real economy and financial market closer together again. Our financing solutions have a direct impact on our corporate client’s success, e.g. enabling new jobs, better customer relationships and stronger balance sheets.

We follow the core ESG principles:

1

We act responsibly with respect to the environment, aiming for a sustainable approach to the use of resources, avoiding irresponsible disposal of hazardous products and unnecessary waste.

2

We ensure that our management structures and policies reflect the need for transparency, accountability, equality and probity in the management of its business.

3

We are always non-discriminatory (whether on grounds of gender, race or disability), and adopt equality and diversity in our employment practices.

Pactum strictly follows the six Principles of Responsible Investment (PRI) which are to:

  • We incorporate ESG issues into investment analysis and decision-making processes.

  • We are active owners and incorporate ESG issues into our ownership policies and practices.

  • We seek appropriate disclosure on ESG issues by the entities in which we invest.

  • We promote acceptance and implementation of the principles within the investment industry.

  • We work together to enhance our effectiveness in implementing the principles.

  • We each report on our activities and progress towards implementing the principles.
